One Weekend….

I was gifted a day’s blacksmithing course where I produced a candlestick that everyone loved. I spent two more weekends in the forge over the next year or so and I realised I was hooked.

Richard Bent, Master Blacksmith, invited me to work with him, and to learn from him. I jumped at the chance.

Over the past five years, I’ve slowly but surely developed and designed a range of hand made products which I sell online and at local craft shows and fairs. Alongside these products I’ve also produced a huge variety of bespoke commissions - from gates and handrails to ceramic dog head holders!

As I continue to develop my business and my craft, I’d like to have an impact in both the blacksmithing community and the art world. I’d also like to focus on moving blacksmithing into the future, particularly when it comes to doing my best to make this ancient craft sustainable and as eco-friendly as possible. I have already chosen to move away from traditional coal to locally sourced, sustainably produced charcoal, which has made a substantial difference to the air quality of the forge. I am now also posting smaller items in compostable envelopes.

Thank you for taking the time to read this brief bio, I hope you enjoy the products I have available. If you have a larger or more bespoke project in mind please feel free to get in contact via the email below, on my Instagram, or on the contact form at the bottom of this page.
